The Delius Society was founded in 1962 after the Bradford Delius Festival celebrating the centenary of the composer's birth. We have over 500 members world-wide with thriving branches in the UK and a branch in the USA. We have strong links with The Delius Trust and The Delius Association of Florida. We are affiliated to the Federation of Recorded Music Societies(FRMS).

Our principal aim is simply to bring together those interested in Frederick Delius and his music. The atmosphere is genuinely friendly and new members are always made most welcome. Whilst the membership list includes leading Delius scholars and performers, the majority of members are not professional or even practising musicians and join purely because of their interest in, or love for, the unique music of Delius.
