The Trust promotes the music of Frederick Delius and of British composers born since 1860, by giving help towards the cost of performances, publications and recordings. In addition, assistance is occasionally offered to organizations and institutions active in this field. Priority is always given to the promotion of the works of Delius, especially those that are rarely performed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Letters of application, which must be typewritten, should be made by the promoter of the project and addressed to the Secretary. The Trust normally meets three/four times each year to consider applications, which should be accompanied by:

1.
  Full details of the project for which help is requested. NB These should be not more than 300 words and include the date(s) of performances/recording sessions, etc, the venue, the artists taking part and the programme.
   
2.
  Particulars of the estimated income and expenditure relating to the project (including receipts from ticket sales and advertising, grants from other sources, etc).
   
3.
  Particulars of outstanding applications to other organisations for financial support, including the Arts Council and/or Regional Arts Associations.
   
4.
  Brief history of the organisation applying for a grant together with the names of the members of the governing body.
   
5.
  Name, address and telephone number of the Secretary and (if different) the person making this application.
   
6.
  The most recent set of Accounts of the organisation.
   
7.
  A recent concert programme (if appropriate).
   
8.
  Details of the charity registration (if any).
   
9.
  Details of the bank: name, address, sort code, title and number of account.
