Membership of The Delius Society

(Registered Charity No. 298662)
peter.watts@bournerbullock.co.uk

What does membership include?

Membership brings you two issues of The Delius Society Journal and two Newsletters per year, access to all Society meetings and activities and opportunities for contact and correspondence with Delius authorities, scholars and fellow members. We have set up a Reciprocal Member Societies Scheme with a number of other composer societies.

As part of our 2012 celebrations new members, joining prior to 31st December 2012, will receive a complimentary copy of 'ERIC FENBY - the 1984 Radio Programme'. Formerly titled 'That Boy's No Good' and dealing with the remarkable period Fenby spent with Delius during his final years, this is a classic interview/documentary undertaken by Lyndon Jenkins, with Fenby on top form, and lasting around 50 minutes. The recording, now incorporating higher quality musical extracts, has been transferred from cassette to CD and repackaged. The recording is exclusively available to members.

Society meetings

Meetings are held regularly during the year, in Central London between September and March, and in the Midlands. The AGM takes place in June or July and is timed, whenever possible, to coincide with a significant musical event.
