Choir of the Earth’s wonderful Founder, Mark Strachan BEM, and Musical Director, Ben England BEM, have set themselves a challenge: to persuade as many people as possible to learn and record an almost-forgotten masterpiece: Mass of Life by Delius. We will be performing Delius’ Mass of Life alongside the phenomenal Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by the amazing Sir Mark Elder! To help you familiarise yourself with the music, Mark and Ben – who will be teaching us this amazing work later in the year – would love to invite absolutely everybody to join us for a full play-through at 10.30am GMT on Tuesday 15 March. They will provide their musical insights as we explore this magnificent work together.
