EALING AUTUMN FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE DELIUS AND DICKENS

Following successful Festivals featuring Romance with Russia and Genius of Hungary, the third Ealing Autumn Festival (12th – 27th October) this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Delius and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens.

The main concentration of Delius events will take place over the opening weekend (Friday 12th – Sunday 14th October) and include a recital by Julian Lloyd Webber; concerts by The West London Sinfonia and The Bridge Quartet; a song recital by Anando Mukerjee and a piano recital by Gillian Spragg as well as films, talks, an exhibition and much more. It is hoped to include a Delius Society Members gathering, probably on the Sunday, with an opportunity to meet the artists. There will also be a guided Morning Walk to view the house in Hanwell where Delius stayed in 1892!

Details of all concerts are provided on our Forthcoming Concerts page:
